Cooking at Home.
I had such a good weekend this past weekend! I got a chance to catch up with great friends, celebrate one of best friends and her new bundle of joy, who will be arriving in May, and look at new houses with my husband! 2014 is definitely feeling like a year of big change and wonderful life events. Each month is just getting better and better.

Jet Black.
The sun has finally come out to play in Colorado and I am on cloud nine, ready for spring. It's great not having to bundle up everywhere you go. My husband and I have been have enjoyed the gorgeous weather this past week, taking the dogs on walks through the park and actually being outside for more than 5 minutes.

Sweet Memories.
I still remember my third grade teacher, Mrs. Brady, telling us how to spell dessert. She would say, "Remember you only always want two desserts and only one desert." With that little lesson I never again forgot how to spell to dessert or desert.

Sochi Style.

I don't know about you, but I am really enjoying following the Sochi Olympic games. I am in awe of these incredible athletes, they are so disciplined, talented and just plain AMAZING. Watching US athletes like Sage Kotsenburg rip it down the mountain, doing a 1620 Japan Air for the first time in his career, during the first ever Olympic Slopestyle event was so unbelievable. On top of that, becoming the first American athlete to EVER win gold on Russian soil is a feat that will go down in history, what an overwhelming feeling that must be.
On Friday, I watched the Opening Ceremonies in Sochi and thought it would be fun to share with you some of the outfits from each country. Some are sweet & edgy, some fun, some would make excellent Halloween attire. You be the judge.
